Sébium Sensitive is a daily moisturising product that soothes and rehydrates the skin, while helping prevent spots and blackheads. Addressing the needs of acne-prone skin, it can be used in one of 3 ways:

  • On its own, as a moisturiser, if acne is mild, or before starting a prescription treatment.

→ Sébium Sensitive helps eliminate imperfections like spots and blackheads.

  • To complement a prescription acne cream, during treatment.

→ Sébium Sensitive soothes tight skin and reduces the redness caused by the topical treatments prescribed by your doctor.

  • On its own, as long-term skin care, after finishing your prescription medication to maintain the results.

→ Non-comedogenic, Sébium Sensitive hydrates the skin and helps prevent the appearance of imperfections.

We recommend using the equivalent of a thick line roughly the length of one finger joint. This can be adapted according to the needs of your skin.

How to apply Sébium Sensitive

Sébium Sensitive is an excellent base layer for applying makeup. You can also apply different serums or cosmetic products, if you wish. Just make sure that the product is non-comedogenic so that it doesn’t make your acne worse. If you are going out in the sun, apply UV protection on top to prevent marks from pigmenting and turning brown.

How to apply Sébium Sensitive

Apply Sébium Sensitive to the entire face, just like a classic moisturising cream. The formula soothes and hydrates the skin using InflastopTM complex technology to reduce redness and discomfort.

How to apply Sébium Sensitive

This probably isn’t a great idea. It would be better to alternate the topical prescription treatment with Sébium Sensitive, every other evening for example. After a few days, your skin will start to get used to it. You can then keep Sébium Sensitive for the morning and use your local prescription treatment in the evening.

“During the first month, if you experience some minor irritation, try spacing out your topical treatment. If it’s very strong, wait for a few days before using it again (less often if necessary). Gradually increase the frequency during the second month until you’re using it every evening.”

Of course. The SeboRestore technology in Sébium Sensitive helps restore sebum quality to reduce the appearance of imperfections. Sébium Sensitive’s formula also contains zinc gluconate, which helps mattify the skin.

The number of creams and products in your bathroom cabinet can quickly add up, especially for acne-prone skin. We suggest keeping your tube of Sébium Sensitive next to your toothbrush as a daily reminder.

Definitely not. If you haven’t yet finished your prescription acne treatment, your skin is likely to continue suffering from itching or tightness. The best way to prevent discomfort is to hydrate the skin using Sébium Sensitive. What’s more, the patented SeboRestore technology helps improve the quality of the skin’s sebum in the long term, preventing further imperfections – whether used with an acne treatment or on its own.

How to apply Sébium Sensitive

Prescription anti-acne treatments often dry out the skin, making it more sensitive. While using your medication, whenever possible, avoid wearing cosmetics or trying out new products. Opt for gentle, soothing creams that respect your skin, like Sébium Sensitive. If you really want to try out a new cosmetic product, apply it on a small area to see how your skin reacts. If you experience any itching or burning sensations, clean it off immediately and switch back to your familiar products.
